Tricalcium phosphate (English: Tricalcium phosphate, hereinafter referred to as TCP), also known as calcium phosphate.The chemical formula is Ca3(PO4)2.White crystal or amorphous powder.There are a variety of crystal structure transition, mainly divided into beta phase (beta TCP) at low temperature and high temperature alpha (alpha TCP), phase transition temperature of 1120 ºC to 1170 ºC, melting point 1670 ºC;Soluble in acids, but insoluble in water and ethanol.It is common in human bones and is a good bone repair material.
