Citicoline, also known as cytidine diphosphate-choline (CDP-Choline) & cytidine 5'-diphosphocholine. It is an intermediate in the generation of phosphatidylcholine from choline. Studies suggest that CDP choline supplementation helps prevent memory impairment resulting from poor environmental conditions.
