Melting point 77-79 ° C, white or light yellow crystal, soluble in benzene, pure milky oily aroma, outstanding flower aroma (vingreen and powdery jasmine aroma); with strong strength, long-lasting softness. It is obtained by oxidation of eugenol or isoeugenol with and p-aminobenzenesulfonic acid in the presence of water. It is a semi-finished product of vanillin from clove oil.

Uses: It is used to prepare milk, milk, yogurt and other dairy products and a variety of cosmetic (perfume) flavors.

Vanillin, (also known as methyl vanillin), is an organic compound with the molecular formula C8H8O3. Its functional groups include
aldehyde, ether, and phenol. vanillin is the primary component of the extract of the vanilla bean. It is also found in roasted
coffee and the Chinese red pine. Methyl vanillin is used by the food industry as well as ethylvanillin.

Vanillin is one of the important flavors with a dense of sweet cream odor. It is widely used in confectionary, ice cream,
beverage, cake, chocolate, bread, biscuit, cigarette, wine and feedstuff well as in cosmetic, and in perfuming of rubber, plastic
and other products. It is also used in medicine pharmaceutical, electroplate and other industries and used as chemical reagent.
