Function:
1) Acesulfame K is widely used in various kind of food.
2) Acesulfame K has good stability and suitable taste, and it is the best sweetener for soft drinks, in addition, it also can be used in bakery products, pastry, solid drink, candy, jam,chewing gum, instant coffee, dairy products, jelly, pudding, sweeting agent and so on.
3) Acesulfame Potassium can be also used in medicine and cosmetics, for example, syrup, toothpaste, lipstick, mouth washer and similar products.
Application:
Acesulfame K is usually used in combination with aspartame or other sweeteners because it has a synergistic effect to enhance and sustain the sweet taste of foods and beverages. It is heat stable so it can be used in baked products. It does not provide calories. Acesulfame-K is found in many foods, including chewing gum, desserts, alcoholic beverages, syrups, candies, sauces, and yogurt.
Apart from its usage in food and beverages it is also used in some medicines like cough drops, toothpaste, and mouth washes.
